Auto repair in the United States is split between independent shops, dealership service departments and national chains. Independents handle most routine work (oil changes, brakes, tune-ups, check-engine diagnostics) at lower labor rates and often specialize in one make or in imports; dealers keep factory tools, software and warranty authority; chains sell speed and standard pricing on maintenance items. Most shops charge a diagnostic fee, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, and quote parts and labor separately. Certification matters: look for ASE-certified technicians and, in many states, a state repair license posted at the counter. Written estimates are required by law in most states before work begins, and you are entitled to your old parts if you ask.

I've gone here for about 6 years now. My car is a 2013, so it needs maintenance and care at least once a year. They've always been upfront and fair. If it is something that takes a little trial and error to fix, they are fair about the pricing on that too. I appreciate them keeping my car running until I can ride out the current economy and interests rates. They are also always super busy, so that must means they are doing something right.

Drove ford escape 70,000 miles into shop as soon as checked engine light came on. had car for a week finally looked at it and quoted $660 for installation of new spark plus. called Next day and informed us didnβt have parts and to TOW it to a ford dealership as it could not be driven. Spent $142 additional for tow to Surprise Ford . For called me within two hours informing use the engine was wreaked!! called repair shop requesting their insurance contact so We could put in a claim. First denied the had insurance. Second told me to never call back. Third called back and was told they were not allowed to provide insurance information!! Cost to replace engine $15,000!!! They wreaked our car and will mot provide information for claim?? obviously not a trustworthy repair service. in process of getting lawyer!! And refusing charges the billed me for wreaking my engine

Last September, I was driving across country and popped tire in the middle of the desert. We were able to get a tow to Sun Cities Tire and Auto. We worked with Joey Maresco and had a great experience. He helped us replace the one tire and recommended replacement of a few more tires to make sure we made it across the country without additional incident. My mechanic in Cali told me my tires were good, but by the time I got to Arizona there were cracks and low tread. Joey was professional throughout the process. I'm glad we were towed here and that he did the extra check, when he learned we had thousands of miles left to go. They did have to send out to get the part delivered, which is never fun, but he kept us informed of the status of the delivery and vehicle repair. We made it across the country and the tires are still going strong. I had good service and a good repair experience at Sun Cities Tire and Auto.

My experience with this business has been very positive. They have been accommodating with appointments, finished the work the day of the appointment and been reasonably priced, compared to the dealership. My car is running smooth again. Thanks for the hard work!

I will never use this business again. I had a coupon for a service to include lube, oil filter change, wiper blades, and rotate tires. $147 good deal, I thought. They said I needed a new air filter. I did not! They were to rotate the tires; they did not. What started out at $147 ended up costing $250.07. Complete bait and switch.
